So the other day I had to go to a funeral. I don't mention that for sympathy but rather so you get the idea of the type of event I'm dressing for. I don't really want to talk about the death or anything like that and this post is happy because I don't want to depress you guys, but I really liked the outfit I wore so I thought I'd share it with you quickly.
My dress was a hand me down from my mom. I really like it because it's a deep charcoal gray color and the neckline is really awesome because its a little bunched and gathered and gives the illusion of a scarf without you actually wearing a scarf.
These shoes are from Payless and they were from last fall. They are ankle booties with a zipper on the inner side and a cuff on the top. I really like these booties and I never really wear booties that often because boots aren't really big in Hawaii so I was so happy that I could wear it to this!
So that was my outfit of the day! Let me know how you like to mix grays and blacks in the comments below! My favorite way is by mixing shades (like lighter grays and darker grays together) or by mixing textures (the leather shoes and the cotton dress)!
